Book your T Scalp appointment as usual. You can complete Burst’s short health questionnaire online before your visit or scan our QR code in spa when you arrive. A licensed provider reviews your case and, if appropriate, issues your LMN. After your treatment, Burst helps prepare and submit your reimbursement so eligible funds can be returned to you.

You may still be able to submit the expense. The amount reimbursed can depend on the available balance in your account and your plan administrator’s rules.

Yes. You can complete it online before your appointment, or simply scan our Burst QR code when you arrive at T Scalp Therapy & Spa.

How much does the Letter of Medical Necessity cost, and how long is it valid?

Accepted Answer

Burst charges $20 for a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). Once issued, the letter is valid for 12 months for the treatment or service it was originally approved for, so you do not need to obtain a new letter each time you return for that same eligible service during that period.If you want to use your FSA/HSA for a different treatment, a new LMN may be required depending on the service and your individual eligibility.

Can I use a Letter of Medical Necessity from my own doctor?

Yes. If you already have a valid LMN from your healthcare provider, you can still use Burst to help with the reimbursement process. Depending on how your LMN was obtained, different reimbursement terms may apply.
